Female Westie
We had to put our 14 year old Westie down earlier this week. I am desperate to find an older puppy or adult female - I’m in SC, but will travel if necessary. If anyone knows someone looking to rehome, please let me know.
I am so heartbroken!

Thank You! It was so so painful, but beautiful at the same time - to know that she’s pain free.
The weather was gorgeous. The vet set up a nice spot on their side porch. My husband brought our kids & my mom was able to come too.
I don’t think this hole in my heart will ever completely heal.

I am so very sorry for your loss 😢 So many of us have experienced a treasured pup that has gone to the Bridge. It's so hard to say "until we meet again". Because we will meet again.
We lost our Minnie in 2019 and we waited til last April to start looking again. The one place I started was doing a search on good breeders and the possibility of them retiring one of their dogs. I finally got an answer back 4 weeks after I left countless messages and emails to many breeders. Chloe finally came home with us last Oct, at the age of 6. She is so worth it all! I had done rescue for the Westie breed in the past and there weren't any Westies that I could find in any of the rescue organizations that I knew. The retiree road was the next best thing. Chloe came from a really good breeder and is very well adjusted.
I hope you can find a Westie that will fill your heart again! Blessings!

Oh, that’s a great idea! I miss Shoo’s face so much!
Before I knew better, I looked at puppies in pet stores - that’s where I found my Shoo.
I had her paperwork from 2007 & actually found the breeder that sold litters to the pet store.
Maybe I’ll message them 💔

Thank you so much!
She was the first dog I owned as an adult.
I’m in my 40’s now, but never knew it was possible to love an animal so much.
I have to add a photo of my Shoo soon.
