Seresto Collars
Have any of you heard anything about Seresto Collars? We've been using them on Emmie for at least 3 years now without any problems but I'm hearing rumors that some pets/people are getting sick from wearing them. Anyone else using them here? Emmie goes to the vet on March 11th for her yearly bloodwork/etc and I'm planning on asking them what they think since they sell them. The ticks are awful around here so I know I'm going to have to keep using something to keep them off her.Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

I have never used them, but I have heard the same thing. My dogs have always taken an oral for fleas and ticks . Hope your vet can help.

No help here we've never had to use as ticks aren't an issue. Good chance to ask the vet on your next visit. When it comes to fleas I don't treat the girls unless I find one and it's been about 3 years since I did.

Have never used them for our furbabies Deb. My parents used those Hartz flea collars years ago and they were smelly and sticky. Don't have any experience with flea collars. Years ago when I took Maddie to Earthdog trials I used a light application of Adams Flea and Tick spray . Never used anything on Grady yet but plan on getting something from the Vet when I take him in for his annual check-up.
