stormy night
Hi its me Presley, we had a very stormy night last night, mom made us sleep in the basement, I don't like to go down there, the stairs, bother me, but mom helped me.
It had been hot and very humid all day, heat index was about 107, The storms came about midnight, we had a lot of lightning, it looked like the 4of the july all over again, and very high winds. Mom does like storms, I could tell that she was very nervous, I don't like them either, but put on a brave face for my mom.
Mom here, we didn't get a lot of rain, just wind and lightning,, I don't like storms and feel safe in the basement. I will be glad when july and august are over, can't wait for fall.

Glad you are both OK. Storms seem a lot more violent than they used to be. We've had several of them go through in the past few days. With temps in the 90's and high humidity, it's inevitable I guess. Like you, I'll be so glad when fall comes. I am so sick of being trapped in the house instead of being outside. Emmie just doesn't understand why she can't be out more but it's just not safe. We hope the storms pass and you get cooler calmer weather ..we have showers the next few days and hot weather middle of next week...I do not like the wind here as we are surround by lots of trees ...so not good for walking under ..even along the lanes there are lots of trees...Stay safe ...Hugs and kisses Annie Biba and Drew xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Poor Presley and Mom too. You are getting lots of storms this season. Can sure understand not liking those high winds and lightning storms.We are glad they pass quickly and that you both are safe and no damage. We are having record breaking heat here . Weeks of triple digit temps. I too will be glad to see those cooler days of autumn arrive.
