update on presley
hi all, for the past couple of weeks I have been taking Presley to the vet for blood draws. His kidney function isn't really good. the vet told me to take him off his cancer meds for a week. he went in today for another blood draw. she just called me and said the kidney function was better but not great, and to take him off the cancer med period.
I am so worried about him, he seems to function okay, he, eats and goes outside to do his chores, he sleeps alot, but that can be excepted. at 13. I don't want to lose him and but I think the end might be coming in the not to distant future.
please keep him in thoughts and prayers.

Sandi, it sounds like Presley is doing fairly well and still enjoying life. I know how you must be worrying what with taking him off his cancer meds but have faith that the vets are doing the best they can and we pray that you have lots more quality time with your little man.Love, Deb, Emmie Sue, and Angel Kelsie

thanks Deb. for your kind words, I was very upset when the vet told me to take hi off this cancer meds. but I know she knows what she is doing, I really trust her.
I will spend as much time as I can with them, and hope we have a lot of time. sandi

Awww Sandi ..I've wondered how your sweet boy has been doing.Thank you for sharing an update with us. I too would have concerns with Presley going off his cancer treatment but sounds like your Vet is seeing his function was a little better. In your heart you will know when Presley tells you time is near...it's the hardest decision we have to make and we do it in love. Sending you both prayers and gentle cuddles to your darling sweet Presley.He's been so brave and strong.xoxox

We are thinking of you Sandi and of course dear Presley...its good that his kidney function is a bit better and of course we know how worried you must be about his stopping of the cancer meds,also I guess the meds he has been on might make him a bit more tired and the vet visits..but I still know how you must be feeling and thinking...I will keep looking for updates when you can and please know we send Big Prayers for Presley to have much more time with you and give him a hug and kiss from us here and also know we are here for you anytime..Hugs and kisses Annie Biba and Drew xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
