another stormy night Vote for this post

we are  suppose to have bad storms again tonight, we had some on tues.

Mom and I are going to sleep in the basement again tonight.  the storms don't bother me much, I really can't hear them, but mom gets really nervous and scared of them, I try to clam her, but it doesn't work. she is just to scared.

I like sleeping on the futon, it is big and  can take it over.

the weather radio just went off and mom says we need to go to the basement.'
night all

Hope it isn't as bad as you fear. Why do u sleep in the basement does it block the worst of the storm noise?

Diana, I have been afraid of storms for a long time, I quess by sleeping in the basement I feel safer, It is a lot less noisey,

the worst of the storms went around us, we had a lot of rain and wind, and the lightening was un real, it light up the sky, lite the 4th of july.  scary.

Fair enough. I love storms but Matilda not so much but generally once we go to bed she seems to forget all about them. Wow that would be quite spectacular to see.

So glad the worst of the storms missed you Sandi! We were under a tornado warning last night around 9pm and we've heard that one went through not 5 miles from our house. We feel so blessed that we got off with torrential rains and a bit of wind. I fear this is going to be a long summer and I can't wait till it's over. 90* today so we'll only take Emmie out for short walks then back into the AC. Thankfully, the thunder doesn't bother her! I don't blame you a bit for going to the basement during storms. Stay safe and give Presley a big kiss from both of us!
Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Sorry you had another very frightening storm there Sandi. Glad to hear you and Presley are safe and that this storm went around you. It seems we are having more and more severe weather. We too have had some big storms already this spring.
