Re: Poor Matilda bear
My little pink pawed Matilda. Poor lass can't catch a break went back for her 3 week immunotherapy injection worked out well as this past week she has been attacking her paws again. She has bacteria again on her paws and lip folds. The paws are the worst near the nail beds (as you can see) rated 3 out of 5 for bacteria on the paws, 1 out of 5 for bacteria on the lip folds. Back on antibiotics again. Sprayed her paws with diluted pink chlorhexidine when we got home took her out the front as it makes such a mess and they needed to be sprayed well.

Re: Poor Matilda bear
So sorry to see this latest update post Diana. Another out break on Matilda bear.So cute you call her that! Darn, all the treatments and that stubburn bacteria keeps hanging on.I could just give your wee girl some gentle hugs. I hope that this round won't be as long and it's in check very soon. You're so good at doing all the meds and making Matilda as comfortable as possible.Get well sweetie!
Hugs Sandra & Master Gradyxox

Re: Poor Matilda bear
Sandra, Izabella is Izabear so it kind of caught on from there. Damn bacteria but at least she doesn't have any yucky yeast. Although infection free would be great. She had a lovely bath she didn't think so she had quite a grizzle at bath time. Izabella didn't need a bath but she stood back and supervised.

Re: Poor Matilda bear
Thats adorable adding the bear to their name.Good you have the yeast beat and no sign of it's return.I can imagine Matilda isn't keen on all the bathing but good she is getting excellent care with you and with some more time hopefully these flare ups will not be happened.Giggles that Izabella stood to watch. Giving her sister support. Sweet!
