saw a cute westie today
I went to the store this afternoon and saw this guy on a scooter and on his lap was a westie with a coat on the said "Service Dog", of course I had to stop and visit with him. the little guys name was Shadow and he was 7 yrs old. He was a rescue from Little white Dog in Omaha, and as we were talking another man stopped byehe had two westies, who were rescues from Westie Rescue of Missouri. we ended up talking about are vets and groomers.
Little Shadow just sat on his lap, so sweetly, waiting for a pet, which I gave him (after asking of course).
Best time I have had at the grocery store in a long time. I hope I get to see him again.

Isn't it remarkable how little white dogs bring us all together? Every time I've seen a Westie out and about, I've struck up a conversation with their person and it's always so enjoyable! I'll bet it made your day! Hope you get to see them again!Love, Deb, Emmie Sue, and Angel Kelsie

How nice that you got to see a westie and another westie parent as well. I do the same if I see a westie . Just have to go over to meet the owner and their LWD. It's rare to ever see a cairn but when I am out with Grady people always come up calling him a toto dog which makes me laugh.Sandi glad you had a fun encounter at the supermarket.Hope you see them again.

Its lovely when we get to see our own breeds out somewhere..we do not see too many cairns apart from some who live in Ludlow,we see more Westies here..although that show we went to only two Westies and One more elderly cairn.how nice Shadow was a service dog as well. It always makes my day when I go out and there is someone with a Westie, Scottie, or Cairn. They are the best dogs ever and always brighten my day. I always love to hear all the wonderful stories about them. Love to tell my stories about my kids too. Love Louise and her Angel gang & Miss Kinzie
