Hot hot hot!
It's been sweltering here in So. California and Emmy is truly a "hot dog". 
We've had 6 straight days of temps over 100°, yesterday it hit 114°, and our forecast is at least 4 more days in the 100s.
Plus, the LA metro water district is asking residents to reduce water usage and no irrigation is allowed for the next 3 weeks during repairs to Metro Water District pipelines.
Oh, and we're having statewide Flex Alerts (voluntary power conservation) with possible rolling blackouts due to heavy power use.
Not to mention the wildfires...

wow mark that is really hot, it has been hot in neb, buy we have humidity to go with it and that can make it really nasty.
having to go without power for even a short time has to be hard and water also.
we can't wait for fall.
love Emmy's expression, she seems to be saying "heat please go away"

It's been a nasty, hot summer all around and I for one am ready for some cooler weather! With all you have going on out there, it's a wonder Emmy doesn't crawl completely under the covers and wait for better times! (She looks so cute, POW vote here!)Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

My goodness Emmy is an adorable girl all wrapped up like a hot dog.POW vote from us. We sure know it's been a record breaking summer here and lots of 100's in our forecast as well. The wildfires also bringing smoke into our area. Can't wait for autumn to get here when cool breezy days return. UGH...the pipeline repair couldn't have come at the worse time during a heatwave. My sis lives in Northern CA too and they are expecting rolling blackouts. They have been told to turn off their TV's, limit lights on and the use of fans and AC. Oh and that BBQ for the holiday...forget it that's been banned since the Calder fire last year. My sis is ready to move.She really likes it there but too many restrictions and blackouts in winter and summer. Stay safe and keep those fans rolling and stay cool

Wow Emmie That is real Hot..we had a hot summer but not that hot...yoo poor wee fing ...but yoo must stay cool and play wiv an odd ice cube if yoo can...and just look at yoo...same colour as me and my Master Gwady...so cute ..we had to give yoo POW for this one...even yor Teddy has flaked oot in the heat we see!...we gots thunderstorms and rain now.Big Huggies and kissies and Fank yoo to yor Daddy for all he does here for us..Bibsy Drew and Mummy xxxxxxxxxx
