Matilda is enjoying the sun but not overly well today. After our vet visit yesterday she had to restart (after a 2 day break) antibiotics again the vet said they looked better but there was still infection present. I fed her in the early evening and within 30 minutes of dosing she purged her entire meal and her tummy gurgle off and on all night. This morning I tried to tempt her with 2 different meals but no go so I dosed her with slippery elm powder (in capsule form) she is drinking ok and I am hoping the slippery elm along with giving her tummy a rest for a few days from all medication will make her feel a lot better soon.

Oh the poor little dear. She looks like she is enjoying snoozing in the sun.
hope you can get her meds straightened out and she gets to feeling better.

She had a day free of antibiotics and anti fungal medication yesterday at tea time she ate 3/4's of a normal meal I dosed her again with Slippery Elm Bark Powder. This morning she was brighter she ate her breaky and I again dosed her with Slippery Elm Bark Powder (awesome stuff) but no other medication will give her tummy a good rest for today and hopefully the next few days. Emailed the update to the dermatologist will see what they have to say but have found in the past they are all about treating the infection not how it affects her poor little tummy. But if she won't eat then she can't take them as they must be given with food. I think 3 weeks on antibiotics (and she was on them before then too) was more than enough for her to cope with.
