Westie lost story
Last night I read a post on FB about a missing Westie in my home state of Tasmania. She had just got off the plane (she is 2) and the new owner put her in the car she lives on 60 acres which includes bushland drove home opened the car door she must not have been on a lead or secured properly in the car she jumped out ran into the bush and has not been seen since on Sunday (it is now 5.45pm Monday October 4th) it has now been more than 24 hours. So many people have been out searching they even have a recording of the breeders voice in the hope it may coax her out. Such a sad story. Apparently the area is quite rough terrain. Hopefully they will find the poor little lass alive and well really soon she must be so scared.

Re: Westie lost story
We got the good news earlier this morning (sorry didn't get home until now) the breeder flew across to help in the search and she even camped out in her hire car and put out some of her clothes and food and apparently the little Westie virtually ran into her arms. Such wonderful news that she is safe and sound.

Oh diana, what a great way to start the day, hearing that the sweet little girl was found safe and sound.
the owners should have put her on a leash but that is now water over the bridge.

Re: Westie lost story
Kimba (the Westie) is now (or has now) flown back to Mainland Australia from Tasmania with the breeder who I am told won't be letting her out of her sight again. Sad news I guess for the prospective new owner but in the best interests of the little dog who from the photo (wish I could share but not sure how in this case) you can tell she is totally besotted with the breeder. Kimba is 2 years old she has had quite the adventure.

I bet little Kimba is so glad to be back home, safe and sound. I would probably never let her out of my sight again.

Re: Westie lost story
What a worry it was for the Breeder and all involved. Good she came out to help with the search that lead to find Kimba. Thankfully the little westie is safe and back with the breeder now.

It really was best for the little lass in the photo that was posted you could really see that Kimba loved the breeder and vice versa.
