Izzy has a wound on her front paw and one on her back paw (both on the top of the paw) we tried a poultice on the weekend but as it still looked not so great I took her to the vet this afternoon. She bandaged her 2 paws in the hope of keeping them on her for 5 days. Good luck! She had them off by the time we got home. I bandaged the worst one (the front paw) myself I can manage to keep a bandage on her paw quite easily. Will see what her paw looks like when the bandage comes off on the weekend (providing she leaves it on). She is on cortisone and antibiotics. If at the weekend her front paw still looks iffy I will need to take her back for a recheck and most likely book her in for exploratory surgery. So fingers crossed the medication does the trick and she doesn't need an operation. I don't need to keep her paws bandaged but as the weather has been quite warm I'd prefer not to leave a plastic cone on her while I am at work. I may even take off her bandage Friday after work pop on her cone and let the air get to the wound.

Oh Izzy...wot have yoo done to get them wounds?..wot happened we wunder...and Nooooo way wuds we keep them Banana socks on either!!..yoo poor wee gal but yoo gots to get them paws better and we keep looking for updates...Mummy says I shuds have worn those on my Rainy day activity!...healing prayers for yoo.Lov and kisses Bibsy Drew and Mummy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
