The artist added a small amount of blue around her head. She has posted it to me I should get it early this coming week. I may not have time to take it to the framers this week.

It's absolutely beautiful and the blue around her face really sets it off. Annie and I are both so lucky to have portraits of our Angels thanks to Louise and I cherish it. Kelsie's portrait hangs in our living room and somehow I feel her closeness when I look at it. I'm sure you'll find just the right spot for this wonderful portrait.Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Deb, for sure she asked what finishing touches I wanted and I asked what she would suggest as I am not artistic and she suggested a little blue and some sparkle.

One of my Westie friends helped me as I had a totally different idea and she is more not artistic but has more of an idea what to chose when it comes to mats and frames.

The mats are a light cream. The photo is just for an idea of what to select, the painting will go into the frame. I've decided to buy online and just slip the painting inside otherwise it gets too expensive taking it to a framers plus I don't want to let it out of my sight.
I am not sure where to put it as I have 2 of her in big frames in the lounge, one of Izzy in a big frame. My parent's wedding photo in a smaller frame. 3 smaller photos in a frame of Hannah. In the kitchen/dining I have 3 pics in a frame of Kelsi and Geordie and also a big frame with M&I looking out the window but I might move that into another room.
I am running out of wall space. LOL

Just gorgeous all framed Diana!! Like the blue the artist did around Matildas head.Your framing is lovely too. Such a special keepsake you have to remember your darling Matilda. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I like the blue but not so sure about the sparkle. But once I realised that it was too late. Oh well. I ordered the frame and mats today so hopefully it won't take too long to receive it. The painting is on the way.
