maybe getting another westie
Hi all, I just got an email from the women who runs wag n train in omaha. She has a westie that needs a new home, he is in foster right now and his foster mom is going to call me tonight.
All I know is that he is 5 years old his name is ollie.
I have a couple of concerns, one he sometimes marks in the house, but his foster mom is gone during the day, where as i am home. He gets only with other dogs, but I don't what presley to feel that he is being replaced, I think it would be nice for him to have a little friend, it will just depend on how will they get along, I will do nothing to hurt presley .
will let you know what happens.

Re: maybe getting another westie
Sandi, I understand your concerns and know you'll do what's best for you and Presley. Fingers crossed that everything works out but only you can make the decision for you, Presley and Ollie. I'm really excited for you and can't wait to see how this turns out! Love, Deb and Emmie

Re: maybe getting another westie
Lucky you I have been looking for 5 years for a adult westie both in CA and now in FLA and they just do not exist. Great for the dogs not being overbread but no so much for someone looking. Best of luck for your new pup

Re: maybe getting another westie
Sandi ..that's lovely news to hear and hope a wee friend for Presley..Andrew since we rescued him has often marked in the house.. but when I am not here..sometimes if he hears something and I am out with Biba for the second walk.. I do try and put his favorite toys where I think he may mark...but then he finds another spot!!..its not that he needs a wee..he can often have just done one outside and then do one inside up something!!...I guess Oliie will if you get him do some to mark his new home at first anyway...Dear Eric would mark in other peoples houses! Will look for updates. Hugs Annie Biba and Drew xxxxxxxxxxxx
