Notice the placement of the sheer curtain. Just minutes before (I have some video) I caught her pulling on the curtain. First time she has done it in my presence but on further inspection not the first time she has done it to the curtain.

Ah the joys of "puppyhood"! Emmie's worst act of terror was chewing on the wooden furniture. We were told to rub hot sauce on the table legs and she'd quit chewing them. Well, she decided she LOVED hot sauce so that did us no good! Eventually, she quit chewing but it was a wonder we all survived it! Hang in there. We're sure Sadie will think of lots more things to drive you to distraction! LOL
Love, Deb and Emmie

They will always get into trouble one way or another.

Welcome to the boundless energy and cleverness of the cairn puppy.Left alone in the living room at her disposal can be a playground for destruction. Good you found a remedy for your curtain. She probably is brainstorming her next jumping adventure to reaching that fun chewing to new heights.
Grady liked to chew furniture legs, chairs, tables, sofa and my china cabinet. Bitter apple spray helped a bit but soon he liked the flavor as it didn't stop him. One night got under the sofa to chew the carpet and had a mouthful of fibers. And he didn't forget about that jackpot of fun,he kept trying to get back under the sofa many times till I had to block the space of entry. The training can feel like chaos and defeat at times but with persistent training and activities to keep him from boredom we survived his active teething and chewing stage.
Sadie is an adorable girl in your picture.I can just imagine there is never a dull moment.
