Rookie needs your prayers Vote for this post

Trip and I took Rookie to the vet today. His appetite has not been good and he was due for a checkup too. He will have to have a dental, possibly some extractions. The vet did a blood panel and also gave him a shot for nausea. (He vomited twice this morning.)   Also, and this has me scared: he has a small mass on his left rear leg that will be checked during the dental. So please keep him (and a worried Mom and Dad) in your thoughts and prayers.

Ah Cheryl, we worry ourselves to death when our furkids aren't feeling good. We'll keep all of you in our prayers. Let us know how Rookie makes out.

Update: vet said Rookie's bloodwork was great. Separate test showed no diabetes, so that's encouraging. Today, he was peppier and enjoyed walks with Daddy, but tired easily. We have scheduled his dental for June 19 at which time he will have that mass checked out, too. Please pray it's not cancer. He'll also get a pedicure. One of these nice warm days, he'll get a B-A-T-H. He really doesn't like them, but I won't let Andrew (his vet) work on a dirty dog!
I will keep you updated. Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
