Update on Emmie
Emmie went to her vet for a follow up on the lump that was under her front leg. After 2 weeks on Prednisone, it has shrunk to the size of a pea and the vet is pleased but says we must keep check on it in case it starts to grow in size again (which she doesn't expect to happen). With her age and the fact that she isn't tolerating her vaccines well, we agreed that she won't be getting the Lyme shot any more. All in all, we were pleased with the results and hope that things continue to go well. Thanks to all who have been keeping Emmie in their thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the update on sweet emmie sue. So glad to hear that the lump has gotten small, hopefully it will go completely away. Agree she should get any more Lyme shots. Keeping her in thoughts and prayers.

Deb this is excellent news to see that the growth responded to the medication and has reduced in size. I hope it continues to heal and Emmie is headed for a full recovery. I think as our dogs age they can have trouble with vaccines and we have to make decisions on what's best for them. Snuggles to Emmie and hope she'll be back chasing squirrels very soon.

Glad to hear Emmie responded to the prednisone. Vaccines can cause issues if you are sensitive to them. I am always a nervous reck when my kids get their vaccines. You just never know. Love Louise, BoBo, and Jewel
