Trouble accessing Website?? Vote for this post

Is anyone else having trouble getting on The TC at times? Sometimes, everything works fine but other times, I have to turn off my VPN to access the site. Just wondered if it's just me or if others are having the same problem.

A couple days ago, my hosting provider (which I've used for many years) "upgraded" the server which broke some of the original code I wrote for this (and other) sites. This caused some issues with the TC forum which I've been trying to fix.

Some features may still be broken, so let me know details of problems you're having.

Mark, I'm still having issues getting on the site (Monday, June 9th). It must have something to do with my VPN settings because as soon as I turn it off, I can get on TC. I guess the issue is on my side, not yours?

Yes, some VPN providers can be intolerant of older or non-HTTPS sites. Terrierclub.com is a VERY old site (25+ years!) and I just don't have the time to update the code. In any event, no secure or personal info is exchanged on TC.

PS - Which VPN service are you using? There may be a simple setting where you can "unblock" or "whitelist" a specific non-HTTPS domain, thus allowing http://www.terrierclub.com through.

I use Norton VPN. Since I know what's going on, it's no trouble to turn it off when I want to visit TC. I will check the settings though and see if I can change them.
