Does your baby have skin issues?
Okay, all of you with Westies and Cairns have had at least once or twice (usually more) had the "itchies". I offer to you a tried and true solution. I was, at first not sure, but I tried it on my girls and found it to be nothing less than a miracle. Make a copy of this and try it, you WILL see results I did! By the way, this works for all the "itchy" Terriers.
Here are the ingredients:
1/4 cup cooked 7% fat ground (crumbled) hamburger, cook up lb @ time (must refrigerate).
1/8 cup or less Hot Water.
1 tsp Barley Dog (Pet Smart carries this).
1 tsp Missing Link for Dogs (must refrigerate). Available in many stores.
1 tsp Dream Coat (must refrigerate) order info at the end.
optional: Dash of garlic powder (NOT SALT)
3/4 to 1 cup of Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice kibble (green bag) now comes in small bites too. (lighter green bag)
One 400 mg tablet Vitamin (human) E capsule-prick open squeeze out. drop empty gel cap in bowel too.
As with ALL DIET CHANGES do this gradually. If you follow this you will see results and you will $$SAVE$$ on vet bill and in most cases you will not have to dose your baby with steriods. Unfortunately, so commonly prescribed to our kids.

I found this site awhile back & have tried this. Sammy has trouble with throwing up bile, and the Barley Dog has worked wonders for this. I missed a week-end of giving this to him & he started throwing up again. I stir 1 teaspoon of Barley Dog into a small amount of vanilla yogurt & he eats it up. The site you have there is very good, it really helped us alot, too!
The Care-A-Lot website & catalog carries all three-Barley Dog, Dream Coat & Missing Link! They even have Missing Link for older dogs, too. It has stuff for their joints in it.

That's interesting, Carole. I've always given the Minkies Evening Primrose Oil and that's always done the trick for me.

This is what I feed my doggies too. Works great but sometimes they get tired of the hamburger so I change to chicken breast.
