Softer Dog Kibble?

Does anyone know of a premium brand of dog food that has a softer kibble? My 14 year old Yorkie has sensitive teeth, and finds it difficult to chew hard dog food. I do mix it with a little canned or water to soften it up first, but was wondering, does anyone know of a premium brand (not supermarket) that offers a softer version?

Try cat ones. They're normally smaller pieces.

Lynda, everything I've read says cat food is not good for dogs - gives them too much of some things and certainly not the correct balance of other things they need. I would hesitate to feed my dog cat food. Just my opinion...

When the Minkies were younger they stopped eating dog biscuits or what you call kibble so I gave them the cat biscuits instead. They were lots smaller and they loved it. They had it around a year till they tired of that too so now they go without !!
I've read here before that catfood is supposed to be bad but I've never heard it anywhere but on here....strange.

I think Science Diet does a senior that is a small kibble. I used to put my mother's 18 year old dog that came to live with us, her food in my processor. I'd do a big batch once a week. Just a whirl or two.

How did you get on with softening the food? My 2 won't touch it after it's softened and they are only young. Our older dog wouldn't eat softened dried food at all.
