Any pictures of Cut vs. Strip?
I'm sorry to be a pain... but again I am a Cairn novice! I've gotten different opinions about the coat being soft if you don't strip. I know that I do like the pretty SHINY look I see on alot of the adult Cairns. Is that because they were cut and not stripped, or will it be shiny when Scamp is an adult either way? Could anyone post pics of what it looks like either way?
Thanks, Kim (Mom2Scamp)

Re: Any pictures of Cut vs. Strip?
Kim,
When I got Max last April, I began doing just what you are doing--trying to decide between stripping and clipping. I decided to go with stripping, because I like that "terrier" coat, which to me is a bit stiff and shiny. Plus, it's fun to say that I'm off to the stripper's! ;)

Sandy's Cairns are very shiny and silky so if that's the look you want I'd ask her which way she goes. XXX.

I've noticed MacKenzie's coat is a lot more shiny for a few days after her grooming--- I think the groomers use a special spray which helps the coat remain "glossy" for a while.

Re: Any pictures of Cut vs. Strip?
Kim, I will mail you an image of my Rusty whom we always had stripped. I'm at work at the moment, but will look for one tonight and mail it to you.
