Bach Flower Essence Question Vote for this post

Can anyone explain to me the difference between Rescue Remedy and Mimulus? I've been using Rescue Remedy, particularly with fireworks that scare Brodie half to death. Would Mimulus be a better choice for this? Thanks for any information.

It was for us. The Rescue Remedy didn't really help but Mimulus does. We're having doses today (well, Sparky is) as it's our local naval base's annual firework display tonight...

Adrienne our daughter is the trained specialist in Bach remedies, You use Mimulus and Aspen together, 4 drops of each in water, at least 6 times per day, try to start it before the event, that way it is in their system. The aspen helps with the mimulus, make sure they are put into water, and do not exceed the dose, it is not necessary, , but more times per day the better, it can be put into their drinking water also. good luck

Our Adira is terrified of thunderstorms. I use Bach's Rock Rose for her. It does have mimulus in it but also other herbs as well. It takes about 15 minutes to calm her down.

Bach has a website and you can get pet info their as well as a chart and booklets available. It is wonderful when you can connect with someone that has gone thru the training and some health food specialist have gone thru the program. Ask around your area or contact Bach's education site.
I also have used Bach essence on the ear tips massaged in...you can spritz the air the dog is breathing. Especially good for a dog that is crated and nervous, spritz directly above the face.
I recommend it whole heartedly to give Bach a good use before giving up. You may need to add or adjust, but it is well worth the effort it takes to pay attention.
Hugs,
Nancy :)
