Yogurt? Vote for this post

Does anyone feed their Westies yogurt on a regular basis? I'm thinking of giving my girlies a tablespoonful or so each day. They love it, and I'm hoping it helps with their itchies and general health. I feed Natural Balance dry for the most part, but they really love yogurt. I've given them the Stonyfield vanilla, and they inhale it. Just wondering if anyone else gives yogurt to their pups.

I give all four pups a big tablespoon of plain yogurt everyday.

Yes, I think a lot here do. The Minkies used to love it the rare time they had it, but after my Sparky was very sick last year it was one of the things the vet told me never to give her.

We do the exact same thing, Betty. Sometimes we add tuna with spring water to the yogurt. I take the runoff water from the tuna and make ice cubes for the pack in the summer. They LOVE it.

Mine get about a tablespoon of natural yogurt every day. I originally started it because the vet told me it was good for their digestion, but I have also heard it is good for coats and skin too. It's a bit like dessert in our house, they stand waiting after they eat their dinner and I'm in big trouble if I run out!

Yes we give all four Yogurt, but it should always be the plain, and if you can get it the organic.
But they should never have the flavored ones, too much sugar is what I was told and remember yeast feeds on sugar.

You can't eat yoghurt in this house without letting Sam lick the pot out! He doesn't mind what flavour either but its always pro-biotic yoghurt.

Moshe also eats plain yogurt and more than a table spoon. I don't give it to him every day was scared he would get the runs. He loves it.
