A nice pair of Shires...you can tell my face is not a happy one...we were all soaked through by now ...we had taken Suckie back to the motor car earlier before the rains came down heavy...she wos all snug and dry...unlike me and mummy and Daddy.. x

Here are the Suffolk Punch's in action,We only stopped a couple of hours as it rained and rained and Mummy towel dried me back at the motor car and I had a nice snug ride back all wrapped up in dry fleeces and towels..we had a nice time but the rain made it gwim for lots of peoples and the vintage twactors got stuck sum of them.....but the good old Hoss'es kept going...mummy says it wos a good job we gots the 4wd to get into the fields for parking...lots other got towed oot and in by the big modern twactors. and Suckie had a nice shorter walk due to her back and loved all the new smells and trade stand areas for sniffing around but then the rain started and it was not fair to have her standing in it and mummy said I had had enough and got me all dried up and we went home. Oh my, what a brave little soul you are--staring down those great big horses! Except for the rain, it sounds like you had a wonderful adventure and I have given you my POW for the first piccie of you braving the locomotive!

These are good photos. We saw some big horses like that too. Our mother took me and Mabel to a show. We saw Percherons and Shire horses and Suffolk Punches. Do you think they were the same ones?
But it wasn't raining. I hope you're all warm and dry again. It's raining today, but our mother is home with us. She is off work for two weeks! We're really pleased.
I'm going to put a photo up separately showing why she's off work.

Wow ,that event must have been so much fun to watch with all the pretty horses al decked out.We are so sorry that the rain made you all so wet .It is sad when a event like this has no nice day with sunshine.
