Our mother's elbow
It was our Gotcha Day on Monday, but our mother neglected us and spent the day in hospital instead. That was mean of her.
She had to have an operation on the elbow that she broke, before we came to live with her. It wasn't our fault, and we shouldn't have been left at home.
Our Uncle E came to stay, and he is helping our mother this week.
She will be at home with us for two weeks! It's nice on the sofa with her.
She had the dressing changed on her elbow today. Here is the picture.
They took out the metal pins and wires that were holding her broken elbow together. We were a bit worried that it would all fall apart again, but luckily it hasn't yet. She says she can straighten her elbow again now.
I don't know why that's important.

Re: Our mother's elbow
Oh Toby, I am so sorry to hear that your mother had to have an operation--and that she missed your Gotcha Day! I'm sure that when she's feeling better, she'll make it up to you. Now, all of you must be good nurses and help your mother to heal. I am sending a healing prayer for her and positive thoughts as well. Love, Deb and Kelsie, my Angel Girl
