What a Low Blow...!
I should hab known somethin were up when Mommy got up early this mornin' but bein da trustin soul I is, I didn't think much of it. Then, when her brushed me an put my bestest Christmas sweater on, I should really hab paid attention but I thought, maybe we is goin ta see Santa Paws!! Oh, I was so eggcited when we gots in da car and headed fer town. I didn't suspect a thing till we turned into da parkin lot of my Vet Lady! Too late, I had no time to plan an escape...I was trapped wif no idea what was goin on. Eberybody oohed an aahed ober my sweater, tellin me how cute I looked as they took me from Mommy an led me into a back room where I soon found out what was goin on!!! Oh, da embarrassment ta hab my glands cleaned without a "Howdy do!" Oh, da eggscruciatin pain...I can tell you I left dem know I were not amused...howlin my outrage! They tried ta make up wif me, handin me a biscuit fer bein a "good girlie" but I couldn't be bought....I marched out into da waitin room an proceeded ta "leave my callin card" on der fancy clean rug! Oh yes, I gots my revenge..they won't soon forget me I do say!Lub, Emmie Sue (who will not forget dis day fer a long time!)
