Five Westies come into WRM
It is Raining Westies in the Midwest!!!
Five Westies,came into Westie Rescue of Missouri this week!!!!
Angie just sent me these photos to share with the Terrier Club.
They ALL deserve a loving forever home.
Spread the word....so we can find those very special homes for these darling Westies!!!
Here is what Angie wrote about them.
This is the new girls in rescue.
Rye (red collar) & Rym: 1/11/1996 (sisters)
Misty (turquoise color): 6/5/1997
Pebbles: 4-16-1998
Winston: Is 7 years old and the only male in the bunch and obviously not sure of his situation! LOL... he's camera shy and Teri is having a hard time trying to get a good shot!
Rye and Rum are sisters and will be adopted together. Misty is pretty spunky and may already be pending... :)
Pebbles came in very shy and overwhelmed by it all - but has turned around and is spunky - just not AS spunkly like her room mates! hahaha
They are all very happy Westies, and oddly enough, well cared for in the place they came from. They have a bit of the 'buldge' going on, don't we all - HA - but with nice walkies and new freedom to roam - they'll be fit and trim soon! :)

Good job AJ/Angie--these guys look good!! You weren't kidding when you said it was raining westies! I hope they all find homes soon! They are all so cute!! Winston looks like Mac and is a year younger than him.

Eileen...I haven't done anything but post the photos for WRM for you all to see of these 5 Westies and to help us spread the word for rescue!!!
Just got a Scottie in from a mid Nebraska shelter last night.
Her name is Shelby & I will fostering her for a while.
She has a bladder infection & was just spayed on 7/9. So this little girl is going to need some extra TLC...Ralphie, Abby Lu and Winnie like her alot.
We have had Carins here, but this is our first Scottie foster.
I know Angie can fill us all in with more details about these sweet Westies kids.

AJ - If you have some extra time (??!!) can you please take and post a photo of Shelby?? I'm sure she will be a happy guest amongst your Westies.

Thanks,Sue about the sprouting thing, , these old shoulders could probably use some new parts...
This would not have happened without all the great rescue contacts in shelters in Nebraka..
The network works...
ALSO never could be done without...ALL of the Westie and Scottie people who jumped right in to HELP, and followed through so beautifully!!!
Just like the message about the geese.....
It Surely is not be as easy, IF we tried to do it alone!!!
We just keep picking up more geese with alot of uplifting HELP!!!
I think that message is wonderful!!!
A real 'Keeper'.
This week I REALLY needed Help from My friends and it came through!!!
Oh, Yes, I will be posting some wonderful photos of Shelby...
NEED to get them downloaded and reduced!!!
Learned that with a Black Scottie dog...that IF you hold the Scottie next to your Westie Black T-shirt...you can't find the black dog!!!
Just see the little White Westie Face...
Guess I need a different Rescue shirt!!!
Our 3 kids are being just wonderful to Shelby!!!
Even Abby Lu...and Shelby is another GIRL!!!
I will post the link to a photo album, AND our 3 kids with Shelby..This weekend.
Has it started yet???

Well, whatever their stories they certainly haven't been STARVED !!! That's good.

Wonderful pics Angie, what a happy, plump group. I'm sure Winston will develop a big smile too before long. I'm sure they won't be hard to place.

Oh, my.....Sara,
So Glad you want to see Shelby...She is adorable and I just LOVE her..
Ralphie, Abby Lu & Winnie think having a little black dog here is great!!!
All the rest have been white or Wheaten in the past.
I will get those photos downloaded!!!
Probably tomorrow.
Really cute ones of the kids being great little Rescue Ambassadors again...
Shelby had some health issues, and I had to get her to my vet and on MEDS right away, I also was doing a cat transport that came along on Shelby's transport this morning.
(Cat spent the night at our Westie.....B & B Had her own private room with her own bathroom :)
and traveled on this A.M.to arrive in Minneapolis.
