3 year old Male Cairn in New York Shelter
For you New Yorkers, there is an adorable 3 year old male Cairn Terrier in an animal shelter in West Babylon, New York!!!! I've mapped it, looks like it is out on Long Island.
His name is Buddy, ID # 86173. Shelter: Town of Babylon Animal Shelter, 51 Lamar Street, West Babylon, NY.
Phone # 631-643-9270. This DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A RESCUE GROUP!!!
Will also post this on Rescue page. Oh, if I weren't in California--- I'd have 3 Cairns instead of 2!!!

PLEASE if it is an intake, DO NOT SEND PETFINDER NOTES DIRECTLY FROM PETFINDERS. Send it to yourself, then redo the subject lines.
Please make the subject lines unique to the dog -
INTAKES - 3 YR Cairn Babylon NY pts 9/2
would be a good example - states age/cairn or cairn mix / place including state / and put to sleep date if known. Where possible include a picture. There is one 'cairn' out there that is more chow than cairn.. our irs rules limit us to cairns and recognizable cairn mixes. PIctures can help so much.
There are only two ladies that actually do the intakes and we do have people that check petfinders - but the more looking, the more found. The subject lines make their job easier to do - they dont have to look at 10 dupes .. but better 10 dupes than a missed one.

That's great info. He was a pure-bred, so probably why he didn't last long--- but you never know!!
