All of the older ones are owner surrender. How could someone do that. I look at my Maggie who is 13 and slowing down and even having accidents once in a while and I just cannot imagine dumping her off.
You guys are truly miracle workers and have my upmost respect and love. We send lots of kisses and hugs to them all.

Re: Col Potter Status 10/5/03
Yeah, what they said!!!! THe seniors are the most wonderful dogs. I had my first puppies in 20 years with MacMan and then Duncan, but the seniors are soooo special. My greatest fear is dying and leaving an older dog with no one who really really loves and wants him. If I had a bigger house, Teddy Bear would be here with us too. THey have so much to give, and they ask so little, just love and basic care. Gotta go,gonna cry now...
