OMG. That is awful. Poor little thing. I am sure Debi is devastated. If only they had listened to her. I surely hope they have learned to--and hope that is to what you refer in the memorial.

Peace be with you, little one and with Debi and others who tried to help Arwen. My heart is broken and I just read it--did not experience it.

Re: ? Reply to this Message

Is there anyway to send emails to this place, in other words make them think the world is watching them?

Re: Memorial Page - Arwen Reply to this Message

I would love to do that and think it is appropriate. However, in the world of getting dogs, there is a thin line that one must walk to ensure future lives. I will be happy to do so if someone decides it will do some good, but hesitate to do so--since I know how you must "play nice" with some shelters and always "play nice" with other rescue groups to be able to work together again.

I'd say Debi needs to make this call but am sure she will get loads of support if she wants it.

Thanks,

This is where the "toss up" comes in as they say.
Some places do better because they don't want to get a bad name, while other's don't give a rats behind.
The law needs to be changed to where a registered rescue person can take the dog and help it till the owners show up.

Oh, those eyes! What she has seen and live through.

Lord help this wee one know that she is safe now and will never have to worry again.

This should have gone on Blair's message.

I'm not posting anymore--messing up too much--too upset to think straight I guess.

This saddens me to no end. Her story was previously forwarded to Col. Potter, and we will help honor a westie cousin by naming one of our new kids Arwen in Arwen's memory. She will not be forgotton.

Thank you so much. No, she will not be forgotten. Because of her the rules at this shelter are being changed.
