New Cairn - Blair

WRM got two little Cairns out of a mill and Col. Potter now has them... this is what Lynell, the current foster mom has to say about her - I HATE puppymills!!!

Hi everyone, CPCRN has just gotten a little wounded girl of about 5 years old. She was rescued from a Mill by our Friends, Westie Rescue of Missouri. She is staying in my home until the best foster home is determined.

She has large scars on her back possibly from attacks by other dogs. Her ears are chewed up and missing sections along the edges. Her hair is as thin as she is, but she has a big belly from years of eating a crappy diet. Her spirit is one of the typical mill survivor...wounded and untrusting. She jumps and cowers at every noise but we all know she will recover and her true Cairn Spirit will flourish with love and care.

Her name means "of the plain lands." She has lived her life in the plain lands of Missouri with no hope of change. Thanks to Westie Rescue she is now in the CPCRN promised land.....where we have all promised to love, protect and care for these pitiful waifs.

If you can spare a prayer, send it her way. It doesn't have to be a big one as she is just a tiny little girl at 11 pounds.

Take care,

Lynell

She is so sweet looking. I hope the perfect home is found for her. She looks just like a puppy.

She has the same wide eyed look my Faith got at times.
May they someday know they are paying for this.

What a sweetheart. Someday (and I hope soon) those puppy millers will ROT IN HELL! She is the best hands possible now and I know will thrive and be a happy little girl before too long. We send lots of hugs and kisses.

Poor little thing. She looks very much like Cheyenne. Only Cheyenne didn't have an external scars. Trembles at the slightest touch. We hope there is a special place for puppymillers...torture everyday, no food, no shelter, no human contact, beaten, and having to produce puppies after puppies everyday of their lives and then have those babies stripped away from you so you have no one to love. That is a special kind of HELL reserve for puppymillers.

THANKS WRM!!

Someone said to me once that rescue groups are like links in a chain. Our Westie Cousins are like double links - one on either side of us, always there, always supporting.

On behalf of the volunteers of CPCRN, thank you so much for all you do.

Hugs,
Susan and Myra
