some background.. a dog goes on the website when the updates group gets the first update from the foster mom.. even if they dont have a picture (but we really want one.... )
If a dog is an owner surrender, the matchmakers take an immediate look to see if the dog matches anyone already on file...for shelter and puppymill dogs, you usually need a few days at least to get an idea of the dogs personality (frankly I think all of them are on 'odd' or 'best' behavior for about three weeks...)
then (from me, the foster mom point of view) you wait until you get a note saying someone is interested...doing updates at least every other week so folks know whats up with the dog...

I sent a pic and info on him. He fit in like he has alwalys been here. He is the best little guy. Potty training has been his only downfall and he has done really well with that the last 2 days. I'll send you a picture.

I am only the foster home. He will soon be listed with Col Potter. This little guy is the biggest love bug.
