Timmy, our latest Rescue is adopted!!!
I have a happy announcement!!!
January 31, we picked up a Westie boy, found in Iowa by a wonderful family who contacted Westie Rescue of Missouri.
We were able to pick up Barkley, yet that afternoon before the big snowstorm started.(We currently have 24" on the ground...& it is snowing again...8" predicted today!!!)
They had taken him when he was found wandering in a small town along the Interstate.
If he would not have been found, I am sure he could not have survived this below zero weather in the Mid West.
Our vet got him all up to date on vaccinations and did all the health tests.
He also got neutered & did great while he was with our doggie kids, & cats.
We were told that he hated cats, he marked, & did not care for other dogs.
I think Ralphie, Abby Lu, Winnie & Shelby (&Fwank and Chuck) for so used to fosters...they just all settle in while they are here.
We worked on his marking problem & he did great!!!
Last night, he was adopted by a wonderful family who will give him So much love the the best of care.

This is Timmy's new Forever Adoptive Family!!!
Ed and Linda have lots of Westie and Carin experience and will be wonderful parents of Timmy.
They were So excited when they adopted Timmy.
Sunday, they drove to our home in a snow storm to meet him, and fell in love!!!
They had to wait for the adoption until Timmy was fully vetted and neutered.
He is a healthy boy, with lots of happy years in his future!!!

sniff sniff sniff I just LOVE happy endings!!!! AJ and Gang you are terrierific! You all keep making them feel loved and fitting right in so quick that no wonder you all have terrific fosters!!!!!!!!! (((HUG))) from us!!!
