Follow up to Tennessee Bust
Here is a follow-up report to the Tennessee bust. Man, this woman needs to be flogged!
They did remove her human children from the home as well.

Re: Follow up to Tennessee Bust
That is just the worse thing I could have read. The woman should be shot. The poor babies. It's beyond words.

Re: Follow up to Tennessee Bust
I agree with you carol, how could anyone do this to anyone, let alone innocent dogs. She should be put thru what they have.... Then again, that might be to good for her... She also deserves to lose her kids.

Re: Follow up to Tennessee Bust
I know they are sick and disgusting so I try to post them only on the rescue site but the more people know, the better off we might be. Everyone here knows about all of this type of thing but unless the press covers it and we educate others, thsi will continue.
My hope is that we can get some laws with teeth in all states and countries (though I think the US might be way behind in this regard) and some tough enforcement to send a clear message.

Re: Follow up to Tennessee Bust
Actually Pam, I think you should include a post in the general forum. I'm going to notify some of the media here about this and see if I can help get coverage to spread.
I should think using prescription drugs in this way must be illegal. If this could be dealt with stressing illicit drug use it might catch more media attention and help toward opening up the publics eyes on where those sweet pet shop puppies come from. Drug busts seem to make more noise than puppymill busts.
Does the Tennessee shelter have a website where we could learn more??

Re: Follow up to Tennessee Bust
Pam, I just went back to your earlier post and noticed the Maltese forum, I'm just checking it out now.
I also listened to the video on how the dogs have been debarked. I wonder how many other cruel things she thought up.

Re: Follow up to Tennessee Bust
What gets into people! I just don't understand them and guess I don't want too - just lock them up and forget where the key is! How disgusting and those poor dogs. Can you imagine breeding a 15 year old dog, let alone use the drugs! And what is she teaching her kids. It sounds like they were as bad off as the dogs. I hope they charge her big time and never, ever allow her to have a dog of any kind again.

That idiot that did this is so pathetic!! Those poor, sweet, innocent little dogs. This is just so horrible. I will put her on my prayer list to rot in hell...
