Paddy, 17, comes to CPCRN
Heres a story that started bad (when I first heard of it.. ) but turned out to be really wonderful. corinne
From his Intake Coordinator: Paddy is one lucky guy for sure!!! He will be loved and cared for if he never gets to another home. His mom was sent to a nursing home and Paddy was given to the neighbor to either find a home or pts. Fortunately, the neighbor found CP (her plea for help was posted to my local rescue list and I was alerted). Bless this woman for caring. It is just so unfortunate that Paddy lasted longer than his mom. By the way, the mom moved to Indianna and the vet said it would not be a good idea to send him to the cold north. I agree. The neighbor paid for his vet bills to have him brought current and then some. She was very sad to let him go, but knew that we would take care of him. Paddy is with us due to the love of caring people, even though it is a sad situation. Or I should say WAS a sad situation. The new foster parents are angels in my book.

Paddy is a lucky fellow to have found his way to you guys. He will have a wonderful time and know that he is much loved, even if he never gets adopted.

Bless your group for taking in this little guy... and the neighbor who cared enough to find a safe place for Paddy to fall... wow... 17 years old - what a testament of terrier-tude and love his last owner gave him... I hope she knows he is safe. Angie
