Another Update on Puppymill in Tennesee
Just a quick note for those who are following this story. The owner of the puppymill has been officially charged with 30 counts of animal cruelty and the dogs are being released to foster homes (YEAHHHHH). They are still working on the more serious (ie more jail time) charge of mail fraud etc.
Lynda,
I found out why the wheels of justice were going slowly in this case. They needed to offcially get 100,000 complaints on file to up the charges and get more agencies involved (which would mean jail time). They have accomplished this now so more charges are pending.
The District Attorney in this case really did his best to throw the book at this woman and looks like he will succeed this time. Maybe the other puppymillers will start to take notice ...

I hope they throw the book at this woman. And I hope it puts the fear of God into other millers who think they can get away with anything, because they have been getting away with it for a very long time. Brenda

I agree, Zozo. I say lock the witch up in a cage just big enough for her to turn around in with some stale nasty water and moldy bread. THAT is even too good for her. Shani

Re: Another Update on Puppymill in Tennesee
Rose - don't forget to put a cage on top of hers so that any urine and feces from above will fall on her head and all over her body! Also - a good slap when she complains and if she gets sick, just ignore her ! Oh ya, make her mate every year and give her hormones if she is not doing it fast enough!.
