Hereeee's Dallas!
Another WRM wonderdog.Wow, what a beautiful coat this boy has.

This is the little guy we picked up tonight. He's one year old. (DOB 12/06/02) He has been well cared for and is up to date on his shots. He's supposed to be housebroken - but isn't remembering that right now. He's a little overwhelmed by all of the activity around here, but warms up quickly. He has caused no stir at all with my dogs.
He was released because he jumps on small children and likes to climb fences. I'm hoping that my fence will be high enough to contain him. Hopefully he won't go anywhere with all the other dogs here.
Isn't he a cutie?

Oh how cute. One thing I don't understand ... his owners gave him up because he jumps on small children ... have they never heard of training. If the little guy was jumping then it is the owners fault for not teaching the little guy that this is not acceptable. As for climbing the fence ... that too can be addressed. I just don't understand people who think of animals as throw away lives and these people (in my opinion) think just that way. Maybe I am being harsh here but I have found that the more I read about rescues and how dogs end up in rescure the less tolerant I am of people who don't give their little guys a chance.

LOL... Dallas had owners who only had Labs.... LOL... he is a climber of chainlink fences - but ONLY to get to the school kids on their way to and from school. He's super sweet and very smart, but is a little timid if corrected - but very EAGER to make up to you! :) Poor little guy - just had owners that didn't know what to do with a bundle of happy energy.

OK, maybe this is jsut a coincidence...but I think not!! I live outside of Boston and have NEVER been to Dallas...however, on Tuesday I'm going there on a business trip for a week! I never travel for business and never to Dallas, TX or anywhere in the southwest for that matter...eirie. YES. Dallas perfect for our hom...I think so???
