Bad news for Madison, prayers please
Well, it was time for Madison to be adopted, her pups are all weaned and she was ready to go, the family was all picked out....
and we found a mass on her shoulder.
CPCRN will be getting it taken care of first.. we will know more next week

Ok, I have been,, acutally still am sick. So I have not posted this,, as I couldn't deal with the email. But then I just couldn't stand it-- for Madison not to have the love and prayers she needs.
So,,, I am so sorry Maddy.
Madison has a lump on her shoulder. It is about the size of a deck of cards. She goes in Monday to have it removed and for a spay while she is under. She was going to have a dental but the vet thinks that is too long to be out so her forever home will just have to do that at a later time. It is not a must do at this time but she could use one a bit later.
The vet tried to aspirate the mass and it is solid and oddly shaped. It does not look or feel good.. so we could sure use some prayers. Just a simple something would be wonderful. Madison sure does not deserve to have anything,, do any of them? NO... sigh,,,

Oh no, poor Maddy, I'm in tears for her she's gone through so much. I hope the surgery goes well and the lump is cleanly removed. Dear Madison you deserve many many years of loving and happiness and I will concentrate all the white light I can muster toward you.

If there is a special angel in God's army that protects the litte four-legged babies, please Lord, send him to this little ones aid. Let him rest ever so softy on her back and protect her from any more pain than she has already endured. Please Lord, give this little girl a chance at a decent life.

I'm not sure if its a case of 'wait on her'... we'll know more next week.
the family she was going to has taken other older cairns to adopt inthe past (and was Elijahs foster mom). She had had a very bad year for personal illness, death in the family and a couple of her older dogs died...
My heart goes out to her about Maddy.. and I'd be afraid her heart would break if another came and went so soon.
CPCRN though will be getting the surgery, and making the decision on the results. I just keep praying that it turns out like Sedona's.

That sounds exactly what happened to Laura's rescue that had puppies. She had to have a mass removed as well. Charlene's turned out to be a-ok and I hope Madison's is as well.
