Gracie is adopted!!!
Happy News!!!
Gracie, the sweet little timid Scottie who came from the Nebraska puppy mill is adopted!!!
Here is the link to her story!!!
When we picked her up along with Gordie the Carin, from the same mill, she was ill and oh, so timid. She has come a LONG way in a month thanks to her foster parents loving care.
Here she is today!!!

This is little Gracie the day she came into rescue. She had never had a toy, walked on grass, had any health care or known any love.
She had a horrible ear infection which was treated very successfully.
Today she has it all and a wonderful forever family!!!

Updated on 4/11/04 - I have some great news!
I have been adopted by a great family and now I live on a farm! I have my Mom and Dad (who are champion cuddlers), a Westie sister named Weezer, and two Scottie brothers, Max and MacGregor. They are all rescues, too. Wow!

I just received this update via Jan Seeger (Memory of Monroe Scottie Rescue who place little Gracie in her wonderful forever home...
Just had to share this happy news!!!
In less than a month...Look how she has blossomed from the ill little timid mill dog...
To a life of happiness and Love!!!

Hello Pat and AJ -
Got this note from Gracie's new family this morning. I think Gracie is
happy! What a goofball!

Big things come in small packages! We thought it would be awhile before we
got her to play and run around the house. But no way that was gonna happen,
we had so much fun with her last night. Her and Weezer ran around the table
about 15 times playing tag and I was folding clothes and she would grab the
clothes and take off. And Weezer and Max started doing it. And then she
slept in bed with us too. Just had to let you know how happy she is.
