Westies available for adoption
We are looking for westie loving homes for these rescues.
CLARKE: Male, altered, DOB 5/17/02, owner relinquished. No children, calm situation, does NOT do well in crate left alone. Housetrained, uses doggie door, leash trained, gets along with both male and female Westies at foster home. All shots. Fostered in San Diego
ERNIE (listed Hayden: Male, just altered stitches still in, age 1.5 yrs, shelter rescue. Was covered with fleas, ticks, had to be practically shaved, good temperament, high energy, walks on leash (now), is crate trained, will require structured obedience training with the new owner(s) and reinforcement of house manners. Does bark but will stop when corrected. Okay with 8 year old kids. Good with male or female dogs at foster home. All shots. Fostered in San Diego
WHITNEY: Female, altered, guessing 5 yrs, shelter rescue. She came with eye infection, both ears infected, dirty, matted to the skin, smelled and not a happy little girl. She now is on the mend, using drops in right eye, responding nicely. Ears clearing up, she just now can hear from the really bad ear. Is housetrained, crate trained, likes walks, quiet (have yet to hear her bark), currently sleeping on foster parents bed. Is learning to use doggie door. All shots. Very sweet girl. MC DUFF: Male, just altered stitches still in, age 1 yr, shelter rescue. Fostered, unclear if housetraining, is currently being crate trained, learning to walk on leash, etc. Nice temperament, will require structured obedience training with the new owner(s). All shots. Fostered in San Dimas area.
ANGUS: Male, owner relinquish. See website for story and information. Fostered in San Diego
PIRATE: Male, puppy, unaltered, will need special family placement, owner relinquish. Known as problem child. Please see website for story. Fostered in Rancho Palos Verdes.
WOODY: Male, altered, 10 year old (previously rescued), owner relinquishment. Young adult owner is keeping until a suitable home is found. Fostered in Riverside.
WESTIE AND CAT: Male, unaltered, 10 year old. Reported excellent health, has some flea allergy (due to non-monthly flea product applied), all medical records, affectionate, playful, spunky, original owner passed. CAT companion, 7 yr old Tuxedo cat. Niece of owner is requesting both be placed together. They are quite the pair, will use the doggie door together, walk on leashes together, healthy, but need home ASAP. No family members/relatives can take the pair due to existing family pets. Fostered in San Francisco Bay area.
