Happy Photos of a rescued Carin, Gordy

Hi...
I rec'd these photos from Gordy's adoptive family in Southern Missouri.
Gordy came into rescue from a horrible Back Yard (Country "breeder" in rural Nebraska who is supplying many pet stores with all kinds of these "Exotic Breeds")
...via Nebraska Animal Rescue, and Col. Potter was there there to help when I alerted them we have brought in a little Carin boy....who really needed them.
After his vetting in Omaha....two very special Col. Potter ladies from Kansas City met us for his transport to his foster home in Missouri...
We have kept close in touch...and guess what...???
His foster family Fell In Love...and he now a Forever Memember of their family...
(I teased them for a while when they were sending me updates about how they loved Gordy..& had given him So Much ..that they "May Flunk Fostering 101"
Larry and I have....Sometimes...they just get into our hearts...and never leave...
We grow to love them All in foster care...and then reach our limit...and love them enough to be sure they find their very own loving forever adoptive family of their own..
Each one leaves a very special "Paw Print" in our hearts.
That is apart of rescue...
Below is the link to his album about his story in rescue along with a little Scottie Girl, Gracie, who had Lots of infections...and was So afraid..
She now lives in a wonderful forever adoptive home in Minnesota...thanks to our fellow Scottie rescue partners in Omaha..and Memory of Monroe Scottie Rescue.
Both Gracie and Gordy were spayed and Neutered and received alot of health care after getting them from the BYB in mid Nebraska, This was probably one of our most difficult rescue experiences...meeting this horrible person...who did this to these two precious dogs for so many years.
We went to that remote place...by the abandoned church...in the middle of no where....
We were not allowed to know the miller's name or phone #...just pick up the dogs...
She told us she could not afford to have the vet euthanize them...and she "loved them too much to shoot them or drown them"...but could not afford to feed them IF they didn't give her puppies to SELL!!!
She was selling to Pet Stores in Nebraska...Mixed breeds...that they are selling as exotics....
Gracie, the Scottie had been bred to a Bichon...and only gave her one puppy....
Gordy...did want to breed...enough with the poodles....UGH!!! SO HIS TIME was UP...!!!!

Gordy & Gracie today are the Love of their adoptive family's lives.
They are healthy and very socialized....It did not take long...
Here is Gordy today....
He & Gracie have come a LONG way since being a breeding uncared for neglected and abused dogs ...
I Love sharing Happy Stories about our rescues..
This is WHY we just keep on....

Sweet Gracie finally has a chance for a wonderful healthy and loved life...and no more puppies!!!
The Back yard breeder only got one puppy out of her...and was through with her...said she cost too much to feed....can you imagine...???
What a precious sweet soul...that was going to be discarded!!!!
Her ear so badly infected...It will never be "Normal" but she if healthy today and her loving Mom does not care about the Scars of abuse that Gracie will live with....She thinks she is beautiful.....and thank goodness her LIFE was saved and she is healthy and So Loved today & forever!!!

This is the wonderful staff that saved Gordy and Gracie...When they came out of the horrible place that they were used and abused.
They entire staff at Dr. Goodrich's clinic fell in Love with them both...
They even opened the clinic when we called and let them know we had them on a transport..and they really needed Help right away.
If NOT for rescue...
We cold not share this great success story Gordy and Gracie and their wonderful LIFE...filled with unconditional Love!!!

This is Gordy...When we just arrived at our Vets....after meeting the incredible horrible miller and were able to get Gracie and Gordy OUT....
I can Still smell the horrible smell...Imagine HOW they felt about themselves living in the scum and horrible conditions????
(Many rescue transport friends have to roll down the windows..or we cannot breath during the trip for the horrible smells of these sweet precious animals who cannot help themselves.)

THIS was no doubt the Very First Vetting they had EVER experienced!!!!
Lots of infections...untreated for years....
They both had quite a journey ahead....but thank goodness..
They BOTH had a chance for LIFE and unconditional Love in their future...
This is what rescue is all about...

You are So Right...
There is something Very Special about these rescue kids.
They all seem to KNOW that we think the world of them, & they will never have to live without love again.
