Sparky Needs Help - Spread the Word
This is off a Yorkie Rescue List:
Subject: Sparky needs prayers and help
Hi Everyone,
Please keep Sparky in your prayers today and in the days ahead also.
We received an email from a pet owner yesterday who is desperate for help with her little yorkie, Sparky. Sparky is a year and half old and weighs 2.2 pounds. He was out in his own back yard and got too close to the chain link fence that divides his yard with the neighbors yard and six dachshunds got a hold of his coat and they were trying to pull him through the fence and he couldn't get away. He is in desperate need of care and the owner is on social security. One of her neighbors gave her $1000 and the owner of the dogs gave her $500 she took a $500 advance on her social security payment and the hospital won't do anymore without more money. I talked with the doctor and they think it is going to cost around $3000 more dollars before this is over. He is in VERY critical condition but has no internal injuries. He has lost skin on his face and back and he is going to loose one of his ears. Sparky qualifies for our help under Dinks Memorial Fund for compassionate care and we are setting up a web site for Sparky that we will soon post. If anyone wants to send a donation to help Sparky please send it to Pay Pal with this address.

Oh how sad. I do hope the funds can be raised to help Sparky get the surgery he needs. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
