Meet Ozzy..New in Rescue, Dec. 18th
Meet little Ozzy the Yorkie.
He came into rescue yesterday.
Ozzy is 4 and a half years old & a wonderful little cuddly Yorkie boy!!!
He is a little chubby, so his he will need some excercise & a good diet.
He is enjoying playing with our Westies and Scottie and loves to snuggle on my lap.
Ozzy is an owner surrender. His family is moving to a new home, & they didn't want to move a dog in their new house.
Here is the link to the photos that I took of him yesterday.
We also brought in a little Maltese named Chester. Chester was a mill dog who has a stiff hind leg...and walks litle "Chester on Gun Smoke".
Chester will be going on to the Nebraska/ Colorado border to meet his new forever adoptive family next week.
Ozzy will be fostered in Omaha, until we find him a loving forever adoptive home of his own.

Check out little Ozzy's chubbie tummy...He weighs 11.5 lbs & could lose a few lbs.

They are Both wonderful Aj cant beleive the little Yorkie was Surendered just for that reason people can be so cruel without even realising it We wish them both well for the future

My wish for the old owners.
They DIDN'T WANT TO MOVE A DOG INTO THEIR NEW HOME!!???!!.
May they find the new home NEVER CLEAN, MAY DIRT AND DUST BE EVERYWHERE AND HAVE A SMELL THEY CAN'T FIND.

I suppose despite everything they did hand him over to rescue and not dump him and he was certainly well fed !!

Actually what happened was the sister-in-law heard that they were going to DUMP both little Ozzy & Missy their black lab who lives outdoors in a shelter. The only time the lab comes inside is when it is VERY cold and inside means sleeping the garage.
The sister-in-law is a cat rescue person....& knew that I do rescue for little ones in need & called me for HELP for Ozzy.
His previous diet was Kibbles and Bits & I am sure whatever they threw on the floor for him to finish off.
He got little or no excercise...& was rarely let outside...when he was..it was on a tie out leash.
I am sure with the right diet and excercise, he will slim down and get some muscle strength.
Now when me tries to run he kind of grunts but he is loving having activity in his life.
Ozzy's life will just keep getting better and better!!!

Oh, I SO AGREE!!!!
Little Chester was rarely allowed to go outside to go Potty, & when he did, he was tied to a chain.
He is such a little Love...NOW he will have the opportunity for a life filled with happiness, wonderful care & Lots of LOVE!!!!

I hate to say it, Eve, but that sounds like my home sometimes LOL!! No matter how often you vacuum, little paws drag stuff in. You gave me a very good laugh. I totally agree with your wish though!!
