TRANSPORT HELP!!! Lousiville, KY to Rumson, NJ
Assisting in the transport of a 10 year old Westie to his new home. Please help if you can!!
Some of you have volunteered to assist in air transports due to working for airlines - please help if you can.
No date chosen yet due to weather/road conditions. We are hoping to get transporters lined up along this route for a transport within the next week. Perhaps some may be traveling East and could give this little Westie boy a lift??
PLEASE we need help!! Please send to your personal contacts along the route to see if they can assist us.
Proposed Route (legs could be broken up if necessary):
Louisville, KY to Cincinatti, OH (107 Miles = 1hour46minutes)
Cincinatti, OH to Columbus, OH (102 Miles = 1hour35minutes)
Columbus, OH to Wheeling, OH (125 Miles = 1hour58minutes)
Wheeling, OH to Somerset, PA (111 Miles = 1hour53minutes)
Somerset, PA to Harrisburg, PA (136 Miles = 2hours18minutes)
Harrisuburg, PA to Rumson, NJ (179 Miles = 3hours)

Angie, I can't email, but will be driving from Blacksburg, VA to a little past Allentown, PA on Jan 2 with numerous dogs and some parrots and 3 horses. One more is welcome, if we can help with some of this. Email me.

PS, he is welcome to stay here in the interim if that helps. We are watching the weather closely, and could leave a day or two earlier if it looks prudent. (New years eve in a campground, oh man....)

We live in Lancaster, if you need any help or a convenient place for the transport people to meet. We'd be happy to pick him up in Harrisburg and keep him here at the house.
