Heard this from our local rescue group:
Buddy had his surgery last week. The vet said it was a difficult surgery, but he has high hopes that this pin will work. He said the leg had begun to fuse together, so he had to re-break it. Buddy was in a lot of pain at first, but is doing really well now. We'll keep you up to date. Thanks.

There are some bloody bastards around aren't there ? This really upset me...he's such a beautiful little dog and I can't believe this happened to him. I really hope somebody extra nice takes him to make up for his terrible start in life....
