Re: Tears will flow.
Thank you, Eve...but I think kids of about 10 years and older should view this film...so they would learn to respect their pets and hopefully grow up to be responsible pet owners. I have a sister that doesn't want to adopt second hand dogs...she wants puppies. And my oldest daughter doesn't understand why I do what I do...there is no money in rescuing and fostering.

Re: Tears will flow.
I got YOU beat. I have a friend (who now lives in another state) who thought there was money to be made fostering (FOSTERING) dogs for rescue! Where she got a lame brain idea like that, I will never know! She encouraged her daughter to foster dogs for this reason. It only lasted for a short time once they realized that was wrong. It takes all types to make the world go around, I guess. Darlene and Jolly, FL

Re: Tears will flow.
Tears are right...how very sad. Awful, awful statistics. The puppies in a row on the table were heartbreaking. And the writer is correct-for every shelter animal euthanized a human is probably responsible...that's something our race should be bloody well ashamed of. XXX.

Re: Tears will flow.
I sat here with tear flowing when I saw the guy on the floor by the table and a thought came to mind. You all know how wild Tillie is and how she tucked her body when I first got her. What if my mother in law hadn't see the ad about her being for sale for $25.00 and someone else got her that didn't understand her and they put her in a shelter. As wild as she is at times, this is a baby that understands tears, she always comes running and tries her best to kiss them away and just loves on me till I hold her and I'm not crying anymore. These poor furfaces are there because someone didn't care.

Thank you for posting this, Eve. So sad, but thought-provoking. We all know about the problem, but seeing it like this really makes it so much more real.

Re: Tears will flow.
It does make one think.. And being a foster home for the problem children anyone of my foster kids could have wound up being lined upped. After adopting Jake, I knew we had to do something to help other kids like him. And every scar on my right hand has been worth the end result. All my foster kids have gone on to be good kids in great homes. They just needed a 2nd chance and someone who understands them.
Hugs, Kris

Re: Tears will flow.
I can't stop crying, seeing that one with the man sitting on the floor put me over. Makes me wish I could buy a ton of land to put up a rescue place on and bring them to a loving home. Thanks Eve, as hard as it was to see this, it brings it home.

Re: Tears will flow.
How very sad to see all those lives wasted though Human lack of comitment and care:(
The image of the Dog and chap on the floor just says it all and it hurt so bad it was only on the 18th May that I had to leave my Darling Boy behind at our Vets after having him PTS we loved him so much.
I think Kids should see the film too it might make them THINK and make them better more responsible owners in the future..Well we can hope.
