I just adopted a male westie called alex. He is arriving from oaklahoma we couldn't be more excited. I wonder if he will bark with an accent. I would love to have any input on training and house breaking that is possible. I want alex to have the best that I can be for him he is adorable!

I have a one year old Westie. Since receiving him at 9 wks, he's had recurrent ear infections. Vet thinks he's allergic to something and that's triggering this reaction. We changed his food, no treats, etc, but the infection came back. Has anyone experienced this before with their Westie

Looking around at Westie sites. Have three Westies--Belle(8), Treasure(1), and Olivia(1). Sophie went to Rainbow Bridge 1 1/2 years ago. She was 5 days short of 3. I still miss her so very much. Plan on joining when I get to the computer with my pics. Enjoyed reading and researching your site.

LOVE THIS SITE. I have two Cairn Terrier's; Casey, a 7 yr old female & Cody, a 1 1/2 yr old (?)rescued male. They are both so full of energy, as well as attitude! I accidently found this site while looking at a pet picture contest, & one entry had a referrence to The Terrier Club; I am joining!

My Westie is 7 months old and though she's had haircuts, he has never been stripped. If I need to do this, where can it be done? The vet's groomer doesn't do it, nor does Petsmart or Petco.
