First Report
The kids had a great ZOOM and lots of getting reaquainted sniffs. Of course, the couples did a LOT of sniffing, but I told them later, not now, this is CAMP!
After our first ZOOMIES, the kids all needed a break, so they lounged on the grass and had greenies and Perrier. Those who brought pup tents set those up in the back of the yard.
On the patio, we started our first craft project and that was making tie dyed t-shirts, we also put names on the shirts for quick identification. The boys made Daego Ts and the girls little midriff tops. Several of the kids got carried away and wanted to tie dye each other. Sorry about that. Toby has sort of a blue Mohawk on the top of his head, and Roo is putting pink dots on all the girls for easy id. If any of you want matching shirts just let me know and your kids can make one this afternoon.
Thanks Ellie for bringing all those beef filets with you, we will have a big barbecue this evening.
Everyone is having a great time and nobody is homesick yet. Of course, Eric is having Emma give everybody rides around the block in his carty and he is charging 25 Cents each, he says he wants to buy a nice present for his Faith and his Mum.

Sounds wonderful ! Love the idea of the girls' little midriff shirts....too funny !!!

It figures that I'd see Roo's name mentioned. Little pink dots, huh??? Oh well, I spose it could be worse!!!
Is Reggie behaving himself? Remember, he brought along the body paints --- he TRIED to tell me it was finger paints. Is that what Roo used? Or permanenet dye???!!!!
The boys stashed the big tent in the trunk of Dad's LeMans...it has room for twenty. I told the boys it would make a good boys dormitory and they said, "Yeah, right, Mom" and kind of snickered so keep an eye out on that little arrangement!!!
Also, Barb, I sent along some Godivas for you. Did you get them???
Hope they (continue to) behave. Yell if you need anything!!!
Can't wait to see the t-shirts!!!

Yes, I got the Godivas, they were a little melty, so I added a little vodka and had a chocolate martini! Yum, yum! Several have set up their pup tents in the back yard and I will keep an eye on who goes where, should be easy to track the girls with those pink dots. Not to worry, Roo used washable paint for marking his territory! The kids are having a great time and we are all cooking for the big barbeque with all the filet steaks that Annie sent with Ellie. All our recipes are coming from the Terrier Cookbook, so if you haven't ordered one, now is the time! Ok, have to go and count noses. FGF went to Home Depot and bought a truck load of dirt and mulch to build a little hill so we can have froggy races right after dinner.

Barb,
did you get the large jar of moonshine cordials from Kelsey and Furby?
I told them not to eat any on the way. They're from North Carolina and taste great....
can't wait to see the shirts....
