Well John, We spent a lot of our week worrying about you. It is such a relief to hear you are home.
My dad had bypass surgery way back when. They can do such wonderful things now. We just know you are going to come through with flying colors. Take care of yourself, enjoy life. Give Irene, and Maxwell lots of hugs.

PLEASE follow the doctors orders John! You are so valuable to not Irene and your family and little Maxwell, but to your TC family as well. You are part of the glue that holds us all together. Rest, take your medicine, do your therapy AND BE A GOOD BOY! Let Maxwell give you lots of healing licks and love and cuddles and you'll be sure to get an A+ on your next check up!

I spent the week on vacation working on the kitchen remodel. The entire kitchen is currently in the front room. Nothing like what you have gone through. Been popping in on breaks to check on your progress. Doctors can work wonders now; they did with my brother-in-law. Continued prayers for your complete recovery.

What a week, not one you would want to do again, so now do as they say, take your medicine and hope all the tests etc can make it all well again. We were so worried about you. Don't scare us like that. Now Maxwell can take care of you.

Well, I don't think my week had that much tension and worry in it, that's for sure! I hope that over the coming weeks they can "sort you out" and that you will soon be feeling like a spring chicken!

Well here in Lower Alabama, we have been praying for you. We will keep those prayers coming. Mulli went in for acupuncture and did real well. He has terribly red skin from allergies and I wanted to try another route other than the traditional methods which hadn't helped. We go again in the morning. We certainly missed you and are well pleased you are home again. All our best coming your way...

Well, a summer week for us here, I got hired as a ghost tour guide in Alexandria, VA, and then I got the script - lots to learn! We are obsessed with the Tour de France. But your week is waaay too much, we're glad you are ok and back home and stopping by the TC. We are sending lots of healing thoughts, keep us posted! Hugs to you, Irene and Maxwell. xxxMarianne and Maxxx

Hello JOhn, Irene & max. I bet you are so happy and relieved to be home. My dad went through what you are going through in 1998 and it was a horrible time so I know what your family are going through and my dad knows what you are going through.

You need to take it slow for the next few months and listen to advice!! I know you men dont but you should!!

I am sure Max was delighted to see you at home.

All our love Gilly & Mack xx and Grandad too!

It must have been so scarey for you both. It sounds like you got very good care at the hospital. We will all be thinking about you during the next few weeks. I hope the power of TC prayer can help unblock that artery.

What an (notfun) adventure. And as you are trying to make it home without dying, you are worrying about Maxwell. You are the best dad ever! Hopefully the rehab and rest will help in making the repairs possible, and we will keep thinking of you here in PA.

What a scary thing to have happen, but how good that you were close to home and Irene and could get help fast.
That is so important.
We are so glad you are home and in good care, and will look for your posts and updates.
Please take good care and dont scare us again.
Hugs to Irene for being a good nurse too.

Re: What a Week Vote for this post Reply to this Message

Wow! What a week!
So glad you realized what was happening - did I read in a note someone wrote earlier that you had had a similar problem in the past? I guess that could have made you more aware of what was happening.
Thank goodness you got the right help very quickly - that flying trip to the other hospital must have been their way of giving you a "stress-test"! That would have scared the B'jeebers out of me~~
I'm glad things are stable now.
You have a lot of work ahead of you, but you certainly will have lots of family and friends to help keep you going!
If you get frustrated, just come to TC and vent!!
Good to see you back, John.

John.

We too were and are very worried about you. Allen's Dad had an angioplasty many years ago and does fine.

Toby is not ready to see you yet..he would never have sent Maxwell to you, just to have you leave the little guy. You are so awesome to think of Maxwell's safety actually over your own. Our friend up the street had a slight stroke several months ago while walking his Westie, Rosco and his first thought was to get Roscoe home safely too. See how we always put them first!

You rest up and do just what the doctors have ordered and post whenever you can. Please know our thought s and prayers are with you, Irene and Maxwell..

Love,
Linda & Allen
