We are planning on getting the smaller one-12 for sort of trimming. When you price them check the Col. Potter store, I found their's to be the cheapest at the time I bought ours. Kris Papas December 14 at 15:29 Re: MARS COAT KING Mars is a useful tool for removing undercoat, but it does cut the top coat which is what you don't want on a Cairn. Cutting the coat makes it grow in soft. I use a Mikki stripper for the top coat and occasionally use my Oster, which is a cheaper version of a Mars in between strippings. They are hand strippers that are wider..fit in the hand better at least for me. They are not a rake like a Mars coat king..
