Lymphoma
Hello. I have a good Westie buddy named Woodie. He has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. He is 13 and not handling chemo very well. If you know anything about this disease, please post or email me me with any treatment informtion you have. He is currently on prednisone, and that seems to help some.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Re: Lymphoma
All the information that I have is from a family member who had a Bichon Frise with lynphoma. The dog went to the University of Pennsylvania Vet Hosp. She was given a 50/50 chance of recovery. She had all the chemo and during this time she was her normal self. About two weeks after the last chemo treatment she started developing breathing trouble and they found that the lumps or tumers had returned and were larger. It was at this time that it was determined to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge. They went ahead with the treatment because they thought with a 50/50 chance they just had to risk it.

Re: Lymphoma
Try googling Canine Lymphoma, there is a lot of information.
Good Luck and May God Bless Woodie.
Also, is she giving him vitamins?
Some of these sites also offer support for the parents.
